I am so sick.

Oh god, I've inherited one of those awful, wheezy coughs. The kind that leave you gasping for air after an episode, drowning in yr own mucus. I can't imagine anyone wanting to touch me naked like this. In my delirium I've been inspired to make a few zines. Mostly silly ones like the tentatively named alt b00bs. I think I'll spend most of the day laying in bed, reading comics and feeling like a total boner killer.

Hang over city

I just missed my flight to Montana because I drank too much at Loni's birthday party last night. Rob came into my room in the morning and was surprised to still find me in my bed. I got home at 4:10 am and decided to take a little boozy nap before I departed my beloved city. I was supposed to catch my bus to the airport at 5am. Instead Rob sped my ass over to the airport in Natalie's truck, still a little drunk I suspect. Anyways long story short I've been put on standby. Right now I am at the smokers lounge in the Denver International airport. Trying to kill 9 fucking hours before my flight into Helena. I am super hang over city and a little vomitcore but I think I will survive. I miss Portland already :(.

endless summer

Ahh I've missed the rain. I am a hater of the sun (maybe even fun?) I have the grodiest tan ever, I look like a fucking tang accident. I have also come to accept that I have no business in shorts. I've spent most of the day trying to get my shit together. I've been trying to find a job, and move out of the area I am currently living in. I reside in Northwest Portland. Wandering around one might get the impression that this may have been a cool place to live at one point, but not so much anymore. I live right off of trendy-third, the most gentrified part of town with an abundance of urban professionals and other people types flashing their giant money wads at me. It actually hasn't been that terrible here but they just raised my rent, and I'm already paying a retarded amount of money for a room and a shared toilet with five hairy bachelors (one of whom occasionally leaves me passive aggressive notes about not slamming the bathroom door at night.) I'm sorry if I prefer to poop with a sense of urgency, but I eat alot of tofu mister. I'm really going to miss those sweet backyard houseshows though...

I love everyone that has ever come into my life. There are too many amazing people to say goodbye to. I wish all of my friends lived in the same place and everyday would be like a warm family reunion. I want to give you all boozy kisses and a nice open handed smack on the rear.

Smitten

I've been completely smitten over someone this past month. I guess there is not much I can do about the situation except wait until we are both in the right place at the right time. I feel like we have been chasing each other all over the country. Even though I don't know where to go from here, I know I don't want it to go away either.

The best show ever

This show is happening in my backyard tomorrow. I can't wait. For the first time since I've been back in Portland from tour the weather feels like home. Hopefully there is a brief dry period.
